A UK wide media company is seeking a 2+ PQE legal counsel in London. This organisation is passionate about the UK's broadcasting industry and this newly created position will see you part of a vibrant and collaborative team.

As a Legal Counsel in London the responsibilities for this role will include:

• Draft and negotiate a full range of contracts including manufacturer, distribution, content partner, procurement, terms and conditions and data sharing.
• Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on key issues and risks in commercial agreements.
• Review and advise on marketing and advertising materials.
• Produce guidance on latest legal developments.
• Assist with the development / update of template contracts and documentation.
• Review and advise on company compliance across various areas including data privacy.
• Legal research.
• Assist with the management of the legal technology platform including contract

This Legal Counsel role is open to Solicitors of 2PQE+ with the following skills:

• A minimum of 2 years' PQE with broad commercial contracts, intellectual property and data experience.
• In-house experience or secondment experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of media, advertising and technology industries.
• Technologically savvy with experience using paperless systems and legal technology solutions / platforms preferred.
