Job Title: Employment Paralegal
Location: London (Hybrid working)
Salary: £30k - £40k

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Employment Paralegal to join the legal team in a long-term role supporting a busy practice. The position focuses predominantly on employment law, with opportunities to support general litigation and some commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support solicitors across a broad range of employment matters including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, investigations, contracts, and HR policy work.
  • Assist with Employment Tribunal matters, including drafting ET3 responses, preparing bundles, disclosure management, and case preparation.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and prepare clear, structured briefing notes on employment legislation and case law.
  • Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and internal reports.
  • Provide support on general litigation matters where required, such as document review and preparing court documents.
  • Assist with commercial work including reviewing agreements and supporting due diligence.
  • Liaise with clients, counsel, and internal teams to progress matters effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years' experience as a paralegal, ideally with strong exposure to employment law.
  • Confident handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
  • Strong drafting, research, and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • A consistent, reliable working style, well suited to a long-term paralegal position.
  • Experience supporting litigation, particularly Employment Tribunal processes.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
