Job Title: Interim Document Review Accountant

Pay Rate: £600-£800 per day
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Document Review Accountant for a 3-month interim project with a leading financial services company in central London. The role focuses on documenting financial reporting processes and controls to ensure compliance and audit-readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and finalise templates for process documentation.
- Define the scope and content of the documentation, including key chapters and processes.
- Gain a detailed understanding of financial processes through walkthroughs and observations, identifying dependencies, controls, and key elements.
- Draft process documentation, review with stakeholders, and update based on feedback.
- Ensure the final documentation is thorough, compliant, and audit-ready.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in documenting financial processes and controls.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and IFRS standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with various teams and stakeholders.
- Financial services background is preferred but not essential.
- Available for an immediate start and committed to the 3-month project.
