Our client an NHS new department to drive digital and data analytics require a HR officer to work autonomously and as part of a team, to provide employee relations expertise to managers, acting as an intermediary to managers, facilitating access to relevant People expertise to progress the organisational and strategic direction.
This includes supporting managers and involvement in investigations, preparation for and provision of advice on cases for hearings and participation in meetings, most of which will be of a sensitive and complex nature. E.g. dignity at work.
The People Officer will be required to operate using their initiative on a day to day basis. They will be required to act independently, but limit their advice and support to those areas within their sphere of knowledge and understanding, as set out in the policies, procedures etc.
Educated to degree level or have the equivalent knowledge obtained via experience gained in working in an operational HR Role. and preferably a CIPD Qualification or equivalent proven experience and willingness to work towards
