Property Paralegal - 12 - Month FTC

We are working with a modern and independent Law Firm who is looking for a Property Paralegal interested in a 12-Month contract role.

You will be providing paralegal / administrative support to the Knowledge Lawyers in the Property Department. Also, it might be a good opportunity to develop your Property Law knowledge within an excellent environment.

Some of the tasks and duties will be:

• Supporting the Knowledge Lawyers with internal seminars, and preparing draft presentations (PowerPoint slides and presentation notes).
• Supporting the Knowledge Lawyers with external seminars.
• Managing internal and external seminars and Knowledge meetings (including managing diaries and bookings, managing training schedule spreadsheets, paying invoices promptly and accurately).
• Organising the monthly commercial property practice point sessions, preparing the agenda, organising speakers, preparing presentations (PowerPoint slides and presentation notes) and giving presentations on recent cases or topical issues, and preparing minutes.
• Assisting the Knowledge Lawyers with the monthly Searchflow meetings, taking minutes and assisting with any follow up actions.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Previous experience in a Paralegal or Legal Assistant position with a Property focus would be preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starting approach to tasks and projects and ability to work on own initiative.
• Ability to accurately follow complex procedures and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
