HR Generalist (Contract)

A global chemical business is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to jump in and make an immediate impact. If you're confident, data‑savvy and strong on ER, this role puts you at the heart of UK people operations.

What You'll Do

• First‑line support for ER: disciplinary, performance, absence & general HR queries
• Drive people processes: performance cycle, compensation, Workday actions
• Build reports & turn data into actionable insight
• Support policy rollout & coach managers on HR systems/processes
• Partner on UK‑wide HR initiatives, training & change projects
• Act as first contact for recruitment activity

You will need

• Solid HR generalist + strong UK ER experience
• HR systems knowledge (Workday a bonus)
• Data‑driven mindset & confident with MS Office
• Strong stakeholder management
• CIPD or global experience desirable
• High‑visibility HR role in a global, fast‑paced environment
• Broad remit + genuine influence
• Hybrid, collaborative team + occasional site travel
