A bit about me:
I’ve specialised in legal recruitment for the whole of my career, over 30 years, and I love what I do as much now, as I did when I started in the early 90s. Law has changed so much in that time, there was no cyber crime or blockchain lawyers when I started out, so each day is still a learning day.
When I am not working, you will find me out in the countryside, following a long distance walking trail or climbing a mountain!
What ED&I means to me:
Very early in my career I was affected heavily by the way some law firms were openly discriminatory about candidates that came from ethnic minority groups. It galvanised something in me to be an advocate for talent regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability or any other personal characteristics.
ED&I is at the core of my recruitment practice, I want to secure the best talent for my clients and that means my talent pool is as diverse as it can be!
