Job description

We're pleased to be supporting one of our clients who specialise in the manufacturing and distribution of agricultural chemicals and are seeking a Business Analyst for a minimum period of 6 months, offering up to £600 per day inside scope (DOE). They are a FTSE-listed global brand based all over the world - this specific role is based 90% from home but may require office presence in the laboratory headquarters in Bracknell, where the scientists and lab specialists test the products using data, software and new technology.

This role is critical to the ongoing success of the products manufactured and how they are used by the consumers. Working as a team of 10+ (various levels of BA's, project managers and developers), this role is to analyse the data from various software packages and using JIRA, document the findings and changes in process specifically on testing software. Therefore, strong JIRA experience is an absolute must have, and coming from a Life Sciences/Chemical/Agri background would be a huge added bonus. Because of the project involvement, having Financial experience is also a bonus as the data analysed will determine the ROI or costing of the product across various projects also.

- Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.

- Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts.

- Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

- May lead and direct the work of others.

- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager.
