The Opportunity

Assisting business partners and Head of Financial Analysis and Reporting with the aim of delivering financial information, analysis and advice that will make a genuine difference to decision making and financial performance. This role will be broad and involve working with colleagues globally.

What you will do

• Production and review of monthly management reports covering Practice Group and Practice Area performance
• Financial analysis (Key profit drivers, trend analysis, commercial drivers) including commentary and presentation to management teams and partners in meetings and conferences
• First line support to clients within the Focus 50 initiative, ensuring that the strategy, plans and structures are in place and aligned to the initiative's goals.
• Analyse and interpret large volumes of data to show trends and support business cases, which may include scenario modelling.
• Quarterly accounts process and regular monthly management reporting
• Improving our existing reporting across all channels (excel based and online reporting - we work closely with our systems team who maintain our online reporting)
• Potential involvement various projects such as implementation of financial dashboard reporting dashboards, review of current procedures and standardising reporting amongst others
• Business planning, profitability and budgeting
• Partner promotion processes including supplying information to support individual partner nominations as well as summaries for the IMC

Experience and Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, ideally in a Legal or Professional Services firm
• Strong report and analysis capability
• The ideal candidate is ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and standard excel formulae
• Experience with a dashboard tool such as MS powerBi is an advantage

Compensation

Up to 50 - 55K DOE
