GDPR Consultant

3 month contract - Remote Working

to £500 per day

A GDPR Specialist is needed for a 3 month contract to provide expertise on country capability, governance as well as the management of DPIAs and breaches. The role will to help develop insights on data privacy to ensure compliance in all HR activities across the EMEA region. . This will be a 3 month contract and will be remote working

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Serve as first point of contact within the Global and Regional HR Function for privacy and data protection related issues.
  • Communicate messages and actions of the GDPO to the respective HR operations and Business HR functions.
  • Convey the difficulties and concerns of the operational teams to the GDPO and inform on business evolution that will have an impact on the implementing activities.
  • Coordinate and support regional operations in HR to resolve a data subject request. Act as a HR EAME SME for data subjects
  • Support local HR DPLs by ensuring the required GDPR-relevant information is captured in the GDPR master Inventory for all HR activities of covered countries.
  • Support crisis management team and DPL/HR Country Heads in handling of personal data breaches.
  • Act as HR catalyst and in collaboration with local HR DPLs, inform, onboard, advise and train Syngenta HR community (Business HR, HROps, CoEs) regarding their GDPR obligations across the countries covered

To be considered for this role you will need to :

  • be a GDPR subject matter expert
  • have experience of working with teams in a matrixed environment
  • have operational experience in managing HR data for mid to large organizations
