Job description

A global bio-pharmaceutical company is seeking the expertise of a GDPR/IT Lawyer to join their legal team, on a 12 month contract.

This role will see you negotiating global IT and digital contracts (including but not limited to SAAS, cloud, data licensing deals, digital platforms, AI etc.) Moreover, you will handle GDPR related contract negotiations as well as advising on all aspects of GDPR implementation (Legal not Compliance component).

This will include:

  • Drafting global privacy policies, LIBTs and review DPIAs drafted by Compliance (and respond to requests for legal advice under GDPR). Also, you will advise on GDPR implications of setting up patient support programs and digital projects.
  • Advising on E-privacy related advice, compliant cookie (metrics) and data transfer schemes.
  • Assisting with training other groups on (basic) GDPR application, including correct qualification of actors, etc.

So what do you need to be considered for this role?

  • Between 5-10 years of experience as a Qualified Lawyer
  • Must be fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Must be well versed in both GDPR and IT law

This role will initially be remote and may move to a hybrid model in 2022, therefore you will need to be comfortable travelling to the offices which are in Slough.
