A leading Technology Services Provider, specialising in Professional and Managed Services across EMEA.
What you will do
The purpose of the Group Commercial Manager is to be responsible for all commercial
contractual and insurance engagements across the group. To oversee the Contracts Manager
and subsequent team to deliver the correct documentation to enable the business to run
smoothly with the minimum of risk.
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, service and licence
agreements for existing and prospective customers, vendors and partners
- Work closely with the sales teams to identify commercial/legal risks.
- Highlight key commercial/legal to senior management and propose mitigation actions.
- Maintain the contracts review template and update the contracts review and approval
processes.
- Update all client and contractor/employee/resource agreements templates in line with
changing regulations liaising with commercial lawyers in relevant entities.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's services and the relevant documentation and
registration needed to ensure resource contracts, in country and partner, solutions
are compliant.
- Create/draft resource agreements and amendments and ensure correct/latest
templates are maintained in the CRM system.
- Conduct regular audits of all group commercial agreements and maintain central
listing of client agreements, including review and expiry dates.
- Lead on all corporate legal matters and associated processes where applicable
Team
- Manage the Contracts Manager to ensure service level agreements within the
business are maintained for the delivery of resource contracts, compliance and
related documentation.
- Develop and mentor the Contracts Team to enable them to create/draft legal
agreements and amendments for resource contracts.
- Oversee the administration of the resource healthcare policy, including on/off
boarding of, and escalations from, resources.
Risk management and insurances
- Manage the annual renewal of the combined commercial, group health, kidnap and
ransom and contractor health, policies.
- Oversee the compliance status for the contracts element of the resources.
Qualifications and Experience
- Law degree focusing on corporate and employment law
- 5+ years' experience working as a lawyer in a private practice or in a similar in-house
role
- Exposure to international clients from a legal perspective
- Have represented and taken cases to court
- Ideally have worked in similar capacity within a contract, recruitment business
- Managed and developed a team
- Excellent computer skills including Word / Excel / Powerpoint
This position is predominately office-based, in Wallington.
