Group Management Accountant (Temp to Perm | Hybrid | London)

Job Title: Group Management Accountant
Location: Blackfriars, London (Hybrid Working)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm (3-6 Months)
Day Rate: £250-£300 per day (depending on experience)

An established and growing organisation in the environmental services and consultancy sector is seeking a skilled Group Management Accountant on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to join a purpose-driven team and take ownership of financial reporting, group consolidation, and strategic planning.

The opportunity:
This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with experience in utilities, water, environmental services, or consultancy, who's looking to make an immediate impact with long-term potential.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations

• Manage the month-end and year-end close

• Conduct variance and cost analysis

• Maintain cash flow forecasting and oversee working capital

• Handle group consolidations across multiple global entities

• Mentor finance staff

• Implement systems and process improvements

• Support long-term financial planning and modelling

What we're looking for:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)

• Strong background in management accounts and group reporting

• Industry experience in utilities, water, environmental services, or consultancy

• Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment

• Proactive and hands-on approach
