Job description

Head of Talent Acquisition

We are currently working with the global leader in group litigation to help them secure a Head of Talent Acquisition.

The law firm has very strong values, and their purpose is simple, "we want to make the world a better, fairer place with every case we take on"

With offices in the UK, US, Brazil and the Netherlands they specialise in cases where there has been social and environmental damage and are passionate about helping victims of corporate wrongdoing to access justice.

They are currently running some of the largest and most exciting legal claims in English history. Their cases range from representing the victims of the Mariana Dam disaster - the worst environmental disaster in Brazil - to running large scale consumer actions against brands such as VW , Mercedes, EasyJet and British Airways.

They have developed ground-breaking legal tech and marketing automation that means they can process consumer cases at scale.

This means they not only take on the cases others won't, but they also find solutions others can't.

About the role

The firm is experiencing significant growth, with new office expansion and increases in headcount. They are now seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition to implement and deliver recruitment and talent attraction across global territories.

Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer and working closely with the leadership team, the Head of Talent Acquisition will oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle for the firm, from role initiations and job designs through to onboarding and induction processes, with a focus on their talent attraction strategy and candidate experience.

This role is fundamental to their approach to ED&I, helping to design, deliver and develop their strategic inclusive recruitment and workforce diversity endeavours. You will also work in partnership with the CPO to craft an authentic and compelling employee value proposition. You will be an advocate for the firm, developing and promoting their employer brand, working with marketing to develop engaging content, and external networks.

What you will bring

Candidates will bring significant strategic and operational in-house legal recruitment experience. You will be comfortable acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and liaising directly with in-demand talent. You will have designed and implemented strategic recruitment processes and be comfortable overseeing high-volumes and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

You will have experience managing and developing teams and be aware of emerging recruitment trends. You will have an appetite to innovate and seek technology solutions and be comfortable utilising data and analytics to drive process improvements and inform strategy.

Commitment to inclusion

The firm is passionate about providing a workplace that is welcoming and accessible to all. We seek talent from the widest pool and try to reflect the communities in which we operate. We are committed to ensuring our recruitment processes are fair and equitable to all applicants, regardless of background or characteristics.

It is Inventum Group's policy, as a matter of courtesy, to respond to all applications within three working days. However because of the volume of applications, we are sometimes unable to respond to individual applicants. If we have not contacted you within three working days your application has been unsuccessful and your details have not been retained. Please apply for any other position that you may see in the future. Thank you.
