SEO Specialist - Independent Agency - Surrey/London

£38,000 - £42,000 + benefits

I'm partnering with a cutting-edge independent, integrated Search agency with a unique platform. This amazing platform is helping redefine SEO by driving results over 3 times faster than other performance marketing agencies. This unique market leading platform is powered by machine learning and AI which optimises visibility for their clients. Due to continuing client growth they have a fantastic opportunity for an SEO Specialist to join their team.

SEO Specialist - The Role

• Set and execute great strategies to improve the organic rankings and search traffic for our tier 1 and 2 clients
• Provide SEO analysis and recommendations on the structure of websites and web pages, and the impact of onsite journeys
• Provide mentorship and guidance to execs
• Onsite Optimization related to page titles, URLs, redirects, internal link structures, SEO copy editing, sitemaps review, and onsite housekeeping
• Monitor, track, and analyse ranking performance on an ongoing basis, and optimise SEO campaigns as necessary
• Lead Weekly client calls and monthly meetings *
• Keyword research to identify and discover new targeting keywords and explore content strategy
• Manage & report SEO performance and optimisation efforts on an ongoing and ad-hoc basis
• Work with a team to develop and execute site migration, content, and redirect strategies for large and complex websites
• Keep abreast of the latest SEO tools and techniques and communicate learnings to non-SEO experts in a mentoring role *
• Collaborate with different teams, such as website management, web analytics, business intelligence, content, UI design, branding/PR and engineering team on execution of projects

SEO Specialist - Key Skills

• 3+ years of technical SEO experience
• You'll have worked on a range of websites across multiple industries, and have experience seeing positive results from the work you have implemented.
• Team player that will boost the collective knowledge of the department and has a hunger to always be at the forefront of the SEO industry.
• Proven track record of running full technical audits with prioritised actions, Keyword research & mapping, Backlink auditing, Crawl optimisation, Migrating a website * Page speed optimisation * Rank tracking * Building SEO reports * Schema mark-up (incl JSON-LD) * Good working knowledge of crawling tools, including Screaming Frog or any cloud-based programs * Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS
• Worked with tools including; Screaming Frog * GSC * GA or Omniture * Excel, PPT, Word, Google Sheets etc. * Data Studio (or similar) * Google Tag Manager
