Our client is a global commodity trading and processing company based in London and they are currently looking for a Trainee Controller to join their team.

The role:

• Working closely with the Financial Control team assisting with the reporting and analysis of financial and operational performance.
• Operating as part of a small team who work with overseas subsidiaries to improve profitability by ensuring sound business controls and good operational practices are in place.
• Learning about business and control practices by working with their systems and accounting processes.

You will need:

• Degree in a Business related subject.
• Minimum of 18 months - 2 years experience in a finance, accounts or operations role.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with data management and analysis.
