Job description

  • Role: Commercial Lead
  • Location: UK (Hybrid)
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration of contract: 6 months, 3 days - 8 hrs per day, 24 hrs a week, if the candidate wants to do 6 hrs for 4 days

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in portfolio management, generics and branded generics & BDL and commercial contracting
  • KPI development and execution to contribute growth of profit
  • Demonstrated experience in Commercial Roles
  • Business acumen essential
  • Collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Conduct strategic review of the Portfolio and identify growth strategies to enhance overall profitability
  • Consider and support divestment opportunities
  • Accountable for assessing non-priority brands in TAs and recommend move into IBBI at the right time. Accountable for integration into IBBI portfolio
  • Assist in developing and managing all reporting requirements
  • Proactively outline risk and opportunities across the portfolio to enable CPO financial planning and expectation management
  • Oversee Brand Governance requirements by working with all relevant functions such as Medical, Patient Safety, Regulatory and Legal (RMPs, PI and safety label changes and any POPsys requirements)
  • Ensure that all promotional activities and materials are aligned with strategy and meet the requirements of the ABPI, MHRA, Novartis P3 principles and competition law

Skills Needed to apply:

  • Over 5 years exp in mature / generic brands in UK, who has worked within finance / supply chain before (Required)
  • Any UK marketing / regulatory - stakeholder management experience (Desirable)
  • Experience in working on big/ huge portfolio (Desirable)
  • must have experience in commercial roles or projects before (Required)
  • ABPI qualified (Desirable)
  • experience in managing/ or working with contractual sales force (Desirable)
  • Experience within Primary care and working wholesalers (Desirable)
  • Possibility of going perm
