Our client an award winning, commodity trading and energy supply group are looking to hire a Credit Analyst to work in their London office within a hybrid working model.

The commodity business provides risk management advice and trades both financial and physical commodities with an extensive global client base. They are now looking to expand their Risk team. You will be part of a small team and a growing business so the candidate will be exposed to many areas of the business.

Essential responsibilities are as follows:

• Prepare spreadsheets to analyse the counter-party's financial position in relation to the balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash-flow information.
• Prepare a credit opinion on the counter-party and present it to the committee.
• Ongoing monitoring of the portfolio, and regular monitoring and reporting of their counterpart's public securities.
• Preparing market updates on Oil and Energy sectors.

To be considered for this role you must be a recent graduate with a relevant degree in Business, Finance, and relevant work experience within a similar organisation. You must have an interest in business, energy industry, and commodity markets. Good knowledge of financial statement analysis, along with a good level of mathematics. Finally, you must be detailed orientated and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
