Inventum Group are delighted to be working with a global leader in its sector who are seeking a Finance Transformation Manager (systems) for an 18-month contract starting ASAP. Details of the role below:

Vacancy overview

The Programme Manager will be responsible for scoping, planning, designing, and implementing various transformation projects relating to Finance systems. Key requirements of the role will include proactively management of the projects, with the ability to monitor and report on progress, anticipate, and resolve issues, manage risks, initiate appropriate corrective action, define and run governance and manage stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of Finance they will ensure that the transformation projects are delivering in line with strategic requirements, delivering on time and on budget.

Key Accountabilities

· Ensuring quality and timely delivery for all project deliverables

· Create, review, and maintain programme and project plan

· Act as the central point of liaison, communications and coordination between technical teams and other stakeholders throughout the project

· Monitoring potential implementation project risks, opportunities, and issues that may impact the project

· Continually identifying, prioritising, and mitigating project risks and issues

· Driving proper project chartering and setup

· Identifying and governing change and process management considerations critical to the success of the project

· Develop robust communication plan and present regular programme updates to senior management

· Lead and facilitate key programme meetings, including executive committees, steering committees, and working groups

· Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to distil complex information into clear simple messages

· Managing others to deliver (when not in own team)

· Strong leadership skills, particularly in a matrixed environment

· Strong planning skills

· Strong knowledge of leading-edge applicable technology

· Strong negotiating and influencing

· Strong communications skills at all levels of the organisation

· Strong stakeholder management skills including at the executive level

· Strong Finance system implementation background

· High attention to detail and ability to absorb a complex set of information and determine some understanding from it
