Group IFRS Manager (M&A Focus)

Contract Length: 12 months (ASAP Start)
Location: Paddington, London (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)
Pay Rate: Up to £600 per day
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Group IFRS Manager with a strong focus on M&A and Group functions to join a leading global organisation on a 12-month interim basis. This role requires a technical accounting specialist who can provide expert guidance on complex transactions, particularly in relation to IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical accounting advice for M&A activities and Group functions.
• Advise on complex IFRS-related accounting questions, with a focus on IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Support the finance team with complex commercial transactions and reporting.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including auditors and finance teams, to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with substantial post-qualification experience.
• Expertise in IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Experience in M&A, handling complex accounting transactions.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work independently and self-support.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
