This is a unique role that would suit a qualified solicitor (4PQE+ qualified in any jurisdiction) who is seeking a role that is both management focused and fee earning. This 12 month fixed term contract would see you working with one of the most innovative law firms in Europe.

This firm understands the changes that are transforming the delivery of legal services is happening across the legal landscape and have developed a team in their Birmingham office that is known for its legal excellence.

This position will be form part of a management team who have responsibility for resource planning and matter management, as well as being a point of escalation, and will require a lawyer who has strong project management skills and experience of drafting cost estimates for matters.

Other key responsibilities will include

• supporting Team Leaders and in developing and coaching their paralegals teams
• ensuring the tracking of budgets, timelines and spend and preparing reports for the same
• proactively helping to raise process improvements

In order to be considered for this role you will need the following:

• Be a qualified lawyer
• Have experience in a commercial practice area
• have experience of supervising lawyers and paralegals

This role can be offered on a part time basis (4 days) or a full time basis and can be a hybrid model of remote and office working (this role cannot be wholly remote)

This position is open to all qualified lawyers, and perhaps may suit someone who is returning to work after a break, or is seeking a role that is not 100% fee earning. This is an opportunity to join an award winning team.
