We are currently partnered with a Global Software company who are looking for a Management Accountant with an eye for detail and strong practical knowledge of accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be looking for stability and a long-term opportunity that will allow them the ability to establish themselves as a Management Accountant whilst working in a forward thinking company with global reach.

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

  • Completing month-end processes, including preparation of regular journal entries and managing reconciliations such as credit cards, VAT, fixed assets, prepayments, accruals.
  • Supporting the Group Finance Manager with monthly and annual activities.
  • Assisting when needed with operational improvements, system changes and supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate across the business to discuss accounting matters and improve financial processes, assisting with the adherence to company finance policies.
  • Providing support when needed to members of the wider finance team including FP&A.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Part-qualified ACCA or AAT qualified
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Experience in month-end financial processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
