We are working with a globally-leading property company based in Central London who are seeking a Technical Accountant on a fixed-term contract basis for a 6 month period with very high potential to go permanent.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Full balance sheet control

- Group consolidation using consolidation system (Hyperion)

- IFRS Implementation

- Technical review of accounting standards

- Multi-currency experience a must-have given the global accounting policy requirements across EU and Middle East

- Review of working capital and intercompany control

As the group continue to grow through acquisition, it has become clear that there is a need for a technical accounting specialist in the UK headquarters based in Central London to accommodate the 12 jurisdictions across EU and Middle East. The likelihood of it going permanent is relatively high given the status of the team moving across the next 12 months and there may be opportunity for a more commercial approach in the permanent role.
