Interim Project Manager (3-6 Months)

Location: London (Remote)
Day rate: £600-£750 DOE

A leading organisation in the healthcare / professional services sector is seeking an experienced Interim Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives, including new client onboarding and strategic delivery projects. You'll coordinate teams across Service Delivery, Account Operations, Clinical functions, and Sales to ensure smooth, timely, and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:


Project Delivery

  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and resources for multi-regional initiatives.
  • Monitor milestones, manage risks, and keep projects on track and within scope.
  • Align operational delivery with broader client and organisational goals.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the primary link between internal teams.
  • Run project meetings, updates, and cross-team coordination.
  • Partner with Sales to ensure seamless onboarding for new clients.

Reporting & Insights

  • Provide metrics and progress updates to Service Delivery Managers and senior leadership.
  • Support QBR/MBR preparation with project data and insights.
  • Embed lessons learned and best practices across accounts.

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
  • Support workflow, documentation, and system enhancements.
  • Promote consistent project delivery standards across teams.

Client Engagement

  • Support client-facing initiatives, especially onboarding.
  • Translate client needs into actionable plans.
  • Coordinate responses to escalations and complex requests.

About You:

  • Degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or similar.
  • PMP/PRINCE2 preferred; Lean Six Sigma a plus.
  • 3-7 years' experience in project management within service delivery, onboarding, healthcare, or professional services.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Skilled with MS Project, Asana, Excel, PowerBI, and KPI tracking.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
